The Nintendo Switch OLED Without 4K arrives on October 8 in stores

We didn’t expect it (almost) anymore, but the Nintendo Switch OLED is a reality!

The Nintendo Switch OLED Model has just been made official by Nintendo, and it arrives on October 8.

The Nintendo Switch OLED Model is official!

To everyone’s surprise, Nintendo has just made its brand new Switch OLED Model official, the one we talked about a few weeks ago as Nintendo Switch Pro or NEW Nintendo Switch.

“  The Nintendo Switch (OLED model) includes a 7-inch OLED display with thinner edges. The intense colors and high contrasts of this large screen provide an enriched gaming experience in portable and tabletop mode, both during the most intense racing competitions and when battling against your enemies,  ”explains Nintendo.

In addition to its new OLED screen, this Nintendo Switch will also have a new, larger and now adjustable support. A very good thing! On the internal memory side, Nintendo has finally deigned to free itself from the 32 GB of the original Nintendo Switch, with a memory twice as large here (64 GB, therefore).

The new docking station will also have two USB ports, an HDMI port and a brand new Ethernet port, finally allowing the dock to be connected to an Ethernet network. Nintendo also promises better audio rendering with better speakers.

On the other hand, no update on the technical sheet side, with a Nintendo Switch which will therefore be “as powerful” as the standard model. Thus, no 4K on the Smart TV in the living room, nor even any power boost to improve certain games.

This Nintendo Switch OLED Model will be released on October 9th.
