Solve WordPress 403 Error

Wordpress 403 issue

Mostly users face wordpress 403 errors because of missing htaccess code.

If you are facing this error on homepage then you can simply login wordpress through wp-admin login page, Go to settings > permalinks and click on save button.

Your homepage will start working. But if you still face issue or not able to access the wp-admin page. All you need to do is login your cpanel and go to filemanager > public_html (or website foldername) > .htaccess, click on it and click edit.

Mostly in cpanel htaccess file is hidden so first you will need to click on settings on top right side and click on show hidden files.

After that add this code in htaccess file and click on save button.

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
